The housekeeping at the hotel was terrific. Water bottles always given with fresh new towels. Ravinder Singh, Abishek, Garima and Paulmi were exceptional. They always made sure we are staying in the hotel with comfort and if we needed anything, we can let them know.

There are major health and safety failures at Ramada. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Firstly, the pool surrounding floor tiles are so old and slippery when the pool water splashes on them which is unavoidable whilst people swim in the pool the tiles become like an ice rink. Anyone can slip and break their neck at any time. I slipped and fell on 3 occasions causing injury to my lower back and neck and also saw 4 other guest cause injury to themselves their are no signs advising guest to walk with caution as the floor is wet and slippery. Secondly one day whilst I was applying sun cream to my body I accidentally hit my head on the umbrella handle which was rusty and had a piece of plastic protection missing and so the handle was broken and therefore the metal sharp rusty plate was very dangerous. I hit my head on the metal plate which cut open my head and I had to be rushed to stop the bleeding. Now that I sustained 2 injuries at the property whilst staying in 4 nights I took the decision that I must complain to the manager and inform him of the health and safety issues so that no other guest gets injured. I had to go and see a medical practitioner as the hotel was not helpful and the cut was very deep and I did not want the rust to infect my head causing further injury so I decided to go to the hospital And have it examined. They said I was very lucky that it did not cut my eye. Immediately after I got cut I reported the incident to the Duty Manager Mr Inderpal Singh who told me to make myself comfortable whilst he went to the pool and investigated himself. He returned some 15 to 20 minutes after came up to me where I was sitting and started smiling and laughing and same time joking asked in his words “ are you ok now, strong strong ok ok” to me. My head was cut open I was in severe pain and for the Duty Manager to return in such a joking manner was absolutely shocking to say the least. There was no apology to me for the part their umbrella played in causing my injury. Not an iota of compassion or apology or concern for the injury I had sustained. This manager did not care at all and not care if I was ok are needed any assistance. After joking to me with his comments he started to walk away when asked him to stop and make a full report about the incident and so that the umbrella handle can be fixed and the surrounding pool area can have signs warning of the slippery foot surface around the pool. He behaved and presented himself as uncaring and unsympathetic as I find it shocking how such how someone like him can be in a management position without any care for his quests safety. After spending the remaking 2 days in my room on checkout their was still no response from management team who I asked to report and escalate the matter to the a senior management. So I certainly would not recommend stay at this hotel. Mt Inderpal Singh should be repositioned into as other role and someone more experienced and customer orientated should be replaced to his position.
